Room 8 have been having some fun with clay over the past couple of weeks.
Step 1: Mould the clay using our hands, skewers, knives and a little water. Leave it to air dry for several days.

Step 2: Paint our clay pendant creations. We used a paper palette to mix the colours. We made lighter and darker shades of green, black and red. When the paint was dry we used mod podge to seal the paint and make our pendants looks nice and shiny.

Step 3: Thread some string through the holes we made in our pendants!

We couldn’t wait to wear our pendants and take them home!

Dear Parents, Please check performance timing for your child. Children need to be there well in advance for dressing and instructions.
Congratulations to this week’s Rimu Nui award winners.

Today we enjoyed a variety of independent activities to explore fractions.
