Room 8 have been having some fun with clay over the past couple of weeks.
Step 1: Mould the clay using our hands, skewers, knives and a little water. Leave it to air dry for several days.

Step 2: Paint our clay pendant creations. We used a paper palette to mix the colours. We made lighter and darker shades of green, black and red. When the paint was dry we used mod podge to seal the paint and make our pendants looks nice and shiny.

Step 3: Thread some string through the holes we made in our pendants!

We couldn’t wait to wear our pendants and take them home!
We have been working in groups to solve fraction number and word problems.

The girls practiced their parts during Morning Tea time and used their confident voices to present them to the class.
